CHAIRMAN'S NOTE
It is a great pleasure to be Chairman for The Indian Institute of Architects, Andhra Pradesh Chapter, 2023-2025.
The Chairman and the team members will initiate the chapter in coordinating with centers and sub centers , creating Awareness of Professional Practices in Architecture in the public .Also allowing people to know how important is Architecture & Planning in the present society and also how to be environmentally responsible (eco friendly )for the future world.
Here as a team, we coordinate with Practicing Architects, Planners, Academicians, Private & Public sector with exchange of ideas for the growth of the society.
Unity, enthusiasm, responsibilities amongst we Members helps to implement the vision of AP Chapter and our teamwork divides the tasks and multiples the success.
I want to take a moment to reflect on our shared vision and commitment to shaping a better tomorrow through architecture. As a Chairman, I will do my best of my ability with guidance and suggestions from the Members.

Welcome to IIA, AP chapter
- The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) is the National body of Architects in the country. Established in 1917, the institute today has more than 20,000 members and plays a major role in promoting the profession of architecture by organising and uniting the Architects of India to promote aesthetic, scientific and practical efficiency of the profession both in Practice and in Education.
- IIA is represented on various national and international committees connected with architecture, art and the building industry and is also actively associated with International Union of Architects (UIA), The Architects Regional Council Asia (ARCASIA) and South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation of Architects (SAARCH).
